About javier Alonso MD, PhD
Dr. Alonso is fellowship trained and board certified in both cardiovascular surgery and general surgery. He has more than 20 years experience treating cardiovascular disease. Founder of Texas Vein and Vascular in Corpus Christi, Texas, he dedicates his life to improving the cirulation of blood flow in arteries and veins throughout the body. As a pioneer in the field of treatment of venous insufficiency, Dr. Alonso uses minimally invasive techniques to eradicate varicose veins. He completed his five year board certification in general surgery at the University of Missouri and his cardiothoracic fellowship at the University of California, San Diego. He's a member of multiple professional societies both international and national and the recipient of numerous honors in this field of medicine. His doctoral thesis won Magna Cum Laude in the field of heart transplantation immunology.

About Diane Dewbre
Diane Dewbre GNP-BC is a nurse practitioner that has been in clinical and practice education for twenty years. She came to Texas Vein and Vascular in 2007 where she treats all forms of vascular disease with Dr Alonso. All our sclerotherapy patients are managed by Ms. Dewbre. Diane graduated from Univ of Oklahoma with both her bachelors (1996) and masters of nursing (1999). She obtained her Gerontologic Nurse Practitioner certification from University of Texas Medical Branch.
